The machines developed and manufactured by us impress with innovative functions that are designed to sustainably reduce energy consumption and the use of materials.

Climate protection at SEHO
Milestones for our climate protection
We are proud that SEHO was one of the first companies in the industry to be certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001.
However, our operational environmental protection still goes far beyond the extent of the legal requirements. For example, we have been a certified participant in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact since 2021, and we are successively implementing the recommendations from the energy audit according to DIN EN 16247-1, which we conducted in 2022.

100 % electricity from renewable sources
At our headquarters in Kreuzwertheim, Germany, we exclusively use electricity from certified hydroelectric power plants and electricity from our own photovoltaic system, which we expanded in 2023 to a total area of around 2,150 sqm and which generates an environmentally friendly and clean output of around 420 kWp.
Our goal: We want to produce the energy we need in a climate-neutral way, where we need it.

Potentials

In our production halls and offices we have already replaced 900 conventional fluorescent tubes with energy-saving LED lighting systems.
The environment benefits twice, because LED lighting systems not only consume less electricity but also generate less waste heat.

Reduce CO2 emissions
Not only do we regularly put our company to the test, but also our machines, which we continuously improve in terms of energy-efficiency.
This includes, for example, the calculation of the carbon footprint (scope 1, 2 and 3) for selected machines. Right with the idea for a new system, we pay attention to an optimal and environmentally friendly product life cycle. We prioritize the use of sustainable and recyclable materials and work primarily with regional suppliers to ensure short transport routes.
